Burner Isolation Valve (BIV)

The PEBCO® Burner Isolation Valve is ideal for pulverized fuel feed systems where atmospheric control is required.

  • Designed for use in pulverized fuel feed systems of coal fired power plants
  • Designed to the standards of NFPA Code 85
  • Many of the features of our conventional slide gate design are incorporated in this round body gate
  • Intermittent blade supports insure complete closure of the blade
  • Packing assembly (link back to packing gates) insures seal to atmosphere and eliminates housekeeping concerns
